We set off through Burnham Beeches and Egypt Woods both of which are ancient woods. We follow fields, lanes, woods and tracks to reach Wooburn Common. The return route is following the Beeches Way back to Burnham Beeches. The woods could be muddy. Bring a drink and snack. There are refreshments available at the end of the walk.
Meet near the information point next to the café, toilets and seating area. There are 5 car parks in Lord Mayors Drive as you drive into the Beeches and the meeting point is a short walk from the last car park. Parking is via card or Ringo app and is £3 for all day. The post code is the nearest postcode to the parking area. The easiest way is to take A355 Beaconsfield Road and turn left into Beeches Road in Farnham Common. At the end you can see the small road, Lord Mayors Drive into Burnham Beeches. The First X74 bus from Slough to High Wycombe stops in Farnham Common. Alight and walk along Beeches Way and into the Burnham Beeches car parking area.
