Overview

Meet at 10.30am at Epping station (eastern end of the Central Line).  Join me for a leisurely stroll around the outskirts of Epping through part of the village of Ivy Chimneys, learning about its history old and new.  Toilets and refreshments at The Forest Gate Inn, followed by a gentle walk through Bell Common and a look at some beautiful old buildings, before heading back to the station.  For those who would like stay in Epping for an optional lunch after the walk, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the HighStreet .  Leader – Mary Richards
