Overview

Happy Valley Circular: From Coulsdon South Station we climb up to Farthing Down with (hopefully) panoramic views. The path then descends towards Chaldon where we will stop to visit the Church and its 12th century wall painting. Pub lunch on Coulsdon Common. In the afternoon the walk continues through the picturesque Happy Valley which was designated an open space n the 1930s as part of the London Greenbelt scheme.
