A figure of eight walk from Clare country Park, can do just part of the walk if you wish a short walk. A walk through history featuring Motte and bailey castle, medieval priory, Iron Age earthworks and countryside views.

 Clare country car park.  Chargeable.  By the Goods Shed between 9am and 7pm. The ticket machines take coins and there is also the option to pay by ‘phone (using RingGo) for a small extra fee.

On weekdays the charges are £1 for the first hour, £2 for up to two hours and £3 for the day.

 Note: car park may be busy due to end of Park Run so allow time if nearby parking needed, roadside or Football ground - on Cavendish road to Long Melford.
