We are the Solihull Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk onto Cleeve Common, the highest point on the Cotswolds using footpaths, tracks and sections of the Cotswold Way and Winchcombe Way.
Please bring a packed lunch and drink. Toilet facilities are available in the car park but there are no facilities on the route.
Park/Meet at Public Car Park, Back Lane, Winchcombe, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. GL54 5PZ (behind Library) ready for 10am start. Car parking £1, public toilets coin operated.
If you would like to car share, we are meeting at Lady Byron Lane, Knowle (Old Warwick Road) Solihull B93 9AG (near J5 of the M42) for a departure time of 08:30am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 80 miles and a voluntary donation of £8 is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver.
If rainwater prior to the walk results in poor ground conditions the walk may need to be rescheduled. Check the website for details a day or two beforehand.
