Overview

The Cobbler is a Corbett and situated in Arrochar Alps, surrounded by a number of Munros. Though it is not Munro, it is an iconic mountain as it has the most distinctive outline of any mountain in the Southern Highlands and makes a fantastic hill walk on good day. The route starts at the Loch Long car park and zig zag path leads through woods into a glen and runs along the Allt a’ Bhalachain stream. We will explore both main peaks of the Cobbler before descending. On good day we will enjoy stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
