Colchester (North) Station, Station Approach Road. Main exit where the taxis and buses wait. Toilets at station but few opportunities on the walk. [OS Explorer Map 184] If convenient, the best way of joining the walk is via train to Colchester mainline station. If that’s not good, then parking at the station is £11.50 or the restrictions on parking in Essex Hall Road or Chiltern close actually expire at 10 am, which still leaves time to join the walk.
