A linear walk along the SWCP from Combe Martin to Ilfracombe, Although this stretch of the path is not too challenging, poles are recommended. From Ilfracombe catch the bus back to Barnstaple.
The walk itself is 5.6 miles ending in Ilfracombe at around 14.30. Then catch the next bus back to Barnstaple.
