Overview

Starting from Dartmoor's highest settlement, continuing along the High Moor Link past Crock of Gold and Royal Hill to cross the river Swincombe. From Hexworthy return via Whiteworks & South Hessary Tor. Open moorland walking with a wide range of views on a clear day. 1,100ft of ascent. Lots of evidence of previous settlement. Options to make walk shorter.
