A lovely walk to Dedham following the Essex Way. We stop for lunch in Dedham where there is a choice of pubs and tea rooms then along the river to Flatford Mill for another short break before returning to Manningtree along St Edmunds Way.
As this is a long journey and there is a £4.70 parking charge suggest car sharing from Giffords Cross where possible
Giffords Cross Car Park, corner of Giffords Cross Road and Church Road, Corringham
Manningtree Station Car Park. Drive past the station building on your right and enter the main car park and then turn left. Do not park in the split level area opposite the station.
