Overview

This challenging "moderate" hike offers some of the finest views in Hampshire with 4 hills to climb and a little scrambling ..... whats not to love :)

Old Winchester Hill is both a National Nature Reserve and a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, therefore its an interesting place to hike through.

Prompt start at 11am from Meonstoke Village Hall and, as always, please bring £1pp for permission to use the car parking.

Bring water and snacks for 2 stops.

Everyone is welcome - dogs, as long as well behaved.

Drinks after will be at The Buck's Head, Meonstoke.

Head to Meonstoke on the A32; Warnford Road, turning into Bucks Head Hill and on the left you will pass the Bucks Head. Continue and turn left into Rectory Lane and right into Pound Lane. The village hall is further along on the right hand side.
