Overview

This gentle 4-mile walk is mostly level with one stile and some slight inclines. We go along lanes and paths and through fields following Midford Brook with views including Midford Castle. There can be some mud so please wear appropriate footwear and bring poles if you use them. We will have a short drinks stop so please bring a drink. The postcode is a general one which doesn't take you to the car park - this is accessed by turning left shortly after joining the B3108 from the A36. There is an overflow car park if the main one is full. The charge is £4.20 for 4 hours (cash or card). Meet at the pay machine.

The Angelfish Cafe at the canal centre is at the end of the walk if anyone wants to stop for lunch or a drink. There are also toilets at the canal centre.
