This will be a casual evening walk around the forest at Craig Phadrig (not taking in the top view point). It won't be very long but a nice way to get out and go for a low key walk together at the end of the day! We will follow a mix of small paths and broad tracks. If it's a clear night it's a good place for some star gazing!
Seasoned group members and new walkers alike are most welcome!
Please sign up to the walk by contacting the walk leader by 7pm the evening before.
The pace of this walk will be slow/leisurely. This pace will be maintained throughout the walk.
The pace will accommodate those new to walking, however there are parts of the walk that will be on rough, uneven and sloping ground. Please bear this in mind before deciding to join if you are an inexperienced walker.
It is likely to be muddy and there are two sections with plenty of roots on the path, so good head- or handheld torches are essential for this walk as it will be in the dark. Shoes with good grip are also essential - do make sure to wear sturdy shoes. No trainers please.
Children under the age of 18 are welcome under a responsible adult's supervision.
