We start in the historic old centre of Ceres, a beautiful wee Fife town. Then up a rough track to wooded Craighall Den and back along to join the Pilgrims Way on a grassy trail through farmland. By Craigrothie to Hill of Tarvit, exploring the gardens, then up grassy Wemyss Hill to the monument and if clear good views. Along to Scotstarvit Tower and then return by Pilgrims Way.
A very interesting walk with lots of history and good views. Mostly good tracks and paths, some short road walking and a steepish grassy ascent of Wemyss Hill.( no need to climb hill).
