Overview

Along the Coastal Path to Craster then onwards to Dunstanburgh Castle before turning inland and back into Craster along the Heughs, then across the fields to Howick Hall and back along the road to the start.

A good mixture of coastal paths, fields and some road walking. A couple of stiles and all very dry during pre-walk. Only gentle inclines.

There will be a coffee stop and lunch stop en-route.

Distance – 6.4 miles (n.b. for anyone wanting a shorter walk of 4.5 miles, you could wait in Craster on the outward journey and join us later for the walk back via Howick Hall)
