From Clayton Green we will walk through the woods to Lower Wood End where we will have a gentle walk down to the river Lostock and the old Lower Kem Mill.

From there it is a leisurely walk on good paths up to the Cuerden Valley Visitor Centre, where we will stop for a coffee stop (can purchase there or bring your own).  Toilets available.

We will bypass the Clayton Brook Reservoir to make our return to our starting point at the Asda car park

Starting point at the Asda Clayton Green Superstore - park to the right hand side of the store, near to the entrance to the woods.  Toilets & cafe available.

Dogs welcome if kept on a lead.
