This has proved to be a popular walk over the last few years. We cross on the ferry as a group, walk together to the high point on the island and then split for a long route around Cumbrae and a shorter route, but both routes visit the 'capital' of Millport.
THe road rises gently to the high point of the island to just over 100 metres, and the views are worth it.
The walk will be on tarmac and pavements and so you may not wish to wear boots.
The social will be at Largs
Walk by private bus. Numbers will be restricted.

Travel to start of walk by private bus. Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Park at car park for Cumbernauld New Town Hall, Bron Way, Cumbernauld G67 1DZ Then make your way to the bus stop on Bron Way (left out car park) (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
