Overview

Waking from Kendal town centre passing through Serpentine Wood to Cunswick Scar & onto the Mushroom on Scout Scar where you can see wonderful views of the Lakeland skyline to the North West & on to the trig point at 771'. From here the walk takes us to Helsington Church with views as far as Morcombe Bay, Scafell & the Coniston range. the walk returns to Kendall via Helsington Barrows.
