Overview

This is a circular walk from South Queensferry, through the Dalmeny Estate, home to the Earls of Rosebery since the 17th century, returning along the coast via Hound Point with great views towards Edinburgh & across the Forth to Fife & close up views of the iconic Forth Rail Bridge.

There is much history to discover along this walk & an opportunity to stop for a drink at the Hawes Inn before returning to the start point. As this is close to where we will park, those who do not wish to stop for refreshments can head on home.
