Overview

From Dolphinton 1.5km inland to Garvald. Turn N onto Pentland Way. 5 miles on good tracks to Carlops. Then a circular route to Habbie’s Howe which is a hidden gem . Back to cars in Carlops.

On the recce Habbie’s Howe was a bit wet underfoot. Some puddles. So boots and possibly gaiters are advised.

BRING BUS PASS if applicable.
