Overview

Up on to the Downs from Lewes via Landport Bottom, South Downs Way (crossing A27 by road bridge) to Kingston and return to Lewes. This is a hilly walk with one steep descent on a rough chalky track into Kingston. Graded as strenuous because of the hills but we will be walking at a moderate pace. Walking Poles may be useful if you normally use them.
