Overview

From Kingsmeadow Car Park we cross the Tweed, walk across the playing fields to the Hydro Gardens and Soonhope. We stop at Shieldgreen Centre for coffee before a steep ascent to Shieldgreen Tower. Then a more gradual ascent along Tower Rig to Dunslair Heights for an early lunch.

We descend through Glentress Forest and then take a steep descent and cross to Glenbield and follow the road back to Peebles.
