A gentle walk between one of Surrey's most charming villages and the wooded hills of the North Downs. The paths are all well-surfaced and easy although one section has a long uphill climb at the end of the walk. Mainly dry but with some muddy patches after rain.
Dogs should be kept under control and no more than one dog per walker please. One section requires use of leash due to livestock. This walk is based on the Fancy Free Walks route of the same name.
West Hanger National Trust CP, Staple Lane, Guildford. From East Clandon cross the A246 heading south on Staple Lane. The car park is on the right, in the woods, just before a road junction.
