We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A leisurely, picturesque walk from the East side of Petersfield, walking along and over the River Rother with beautiful views of the South Downs. We will circle around the South East of Petersfield briefly crossing into West Sussex before heading back towards Petersfield to explore the Petersfield Heath Lake area and then return to the starting point back along the River Rother. Bring a snack and a drink for a short break half way through the walk.
Well behaved dogs welcome but we may walk through fields of cows or sheep so they must be on a lead at these times. There are approximately 10 styles on this walk. There is a cafe in the Taro leisure centre which will hopefully be open for refreshments at the end of the walk.
Park outside East Hants District Council at Penns Place, Petersfield. Car parking is free. It is probably best to avoid parking near the Taro Centre.
