Across Effingham Common to Ridings Wood, then into Effingham village (pub/picnic), then returning to Effingham Junction via Oaken Wood and Pikes Pool. A suitable train leaves Sutton for Epsom at 10:13, change at Epsom and get the 10:28 train to Effingham Junction. Walk leader will be on that 2nd train. No toilets before lunch stop. Freedom Pass holders get OPDR from zone 6 to Effingham Junction for maximum train options on return journey. Contact walk leader by noon on 28 January, (text only please) to book a place on the walk, and if you wish to book lunch at the pub.
