Overview

This walk visits three villages following paths, quiet roads and tracks and skirts the edge of Egmanton Wood.  There are a few small climbs and in places there are extensive views across flat, open fields.  On the approach into Laxton the route passes the remains of a Motte and Bailey Castle with an information board giving some historical details.  

Breaks for drinks and lunch.
