Overview

These southernmost hills of the Pennines offer a grand panorama across the north Midlands. This area of estates, hamlets and farmland was used by George Eliot in her Victorian novel Adam Bede; paths wind through a bucolic country very little changed. Mainly moderate undulating countryside with lovely views all round with a short steep descent from one of the Weaver Hills - well worth the journey. Joint walk with Wolverhampton Ramblers and Sandwell Ramblers.
