Starting from the car park on the top of Hopwas Hill, the walk goes around the quarry and through Hints village. Some of these footpaths are under threat from a quarry expansion so it may be the last chance to walk them. Four stiles, a couple of steady climbs.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
Accessible by public transport (Arriva routes 765 & X65, Bus Link route X66, all Lichfield - Tamworth).
Layby by Hopwas Woods on A51 between Lichfield and Tamworth.
