This is a walk we have done before but we thought that we would do it the other way round for a change of view. We start at Elmley Castle and walk along the bottom of Bredon Hill to Great Comberton before a gentle ascent of the hill. We go across the hill via the look-out tower and then descend more steeply to Elmley Castle where we finish and can have lunch at the Queen Elizabeth. There are a few stiles.
We can park on the road in Elmley Castle near the pub.
Please allow sufficient preparation time so we can depart promptly.
Route Type: Loop, this is a circular route where the walker ends at the start point without retracing any of the route.
Snacks: one stops, bring drinks and a snack.
Post Walk Refreshments: Queen Elisabeth pub.
No dogs please (registered assistance dogs by prior arrangement with the walk leader).
Everyone under 18 participating in Ramblers walks and other activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult, such as a parent, guardian, teacher or youth worker.
