We are the Evesham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An evening walk followed by an optional meal at the Star Inn, Ashton-under-Hill.
Starting at Ashton, we will follow a 4.5 mile circuit around the lower slopes of Bredon Hill, going via Grafton and Beckford Nature Reserve. A little undulating but not very hilly, apart from a short climb at the start. Some lovely views across to Dumbleton and Oxenton.
The meal, for those interested, will be at the Star Inn, Ashton WR11 7SN. See the web link for the menu. Note that Wednesday night is pie night. Recommended, if you have a healthy appetite. Will anyone intending to eat please let Simon know by Monday (7th) lunchtime so that a booking can be made if needed. We will plan to eat at 8:00 pm.
Mostly across farmland and open country with some road walking on country lanes. About 6 stiles. Will be some sheep but not cattle. Likely to be a bit muddy in places, given the current weather. Suitable for dogs on leads.

Meet by the church, WR11 7SX. If eating afterwards, park in the pub car park (approx 100 yds up the road), otherwise park considerately on the roadside nearby.
