A pleasant 5.5 mile ramble around the upper reaches of the River Windrush going through the villages of Guiting Power, Naunton and Barton. Some lovely scenery and some glorious views. Gently undulating but nothing strenuous.
Easy walking, mainly on broad paths and tracks, plus quite a bit of walking on quiet minor roads. No stiles. Unlikely to meet livestock. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads. Bring refreshments for a coffee/snack break.
For those interested there will be the option for a post walk lunch at The Farmers Arms, Guiting Power. Any one intending to eat please Simon know by Sunday 4th May so a booking can be made, if required.
