Something a little different. A linear walk starting from Evesham, going via Knowle Hill, Badsey and Bretforton to reach Honeybourne, where we will catch the train back to Evesham.
Note: This is one of a series of new 'Rail Trails' that have been designed by Worcestershire Ramblers, in partnership with the Worcestershire Community Rail Partnership. Full details of the walk can be viewed on the website link below.
Pretty easy walking, slightly undulating but not hilly. Its on good paths and tracks with quite a lot of road/street walking, especially at the start. A couple of busy roads to cross. Quite a few kissing gates but very few stiles. Not likely to meet any livestock.
Note: Trains from Honeybourne to Evesham run hourly at 32 minutes past the hour and the journey time is about 7 mins. All being well, we would expect to catch the 14:32 train back to Evesham. No need to purchase tickets. Sheila will make a group booking on the day, once numbers are confirmed, which will be paid for by Ramblers.
If time allows and depending on the weather, we may have a refreshment (drink) stop at the Fleece Inn on the way.
