This walk is on mostly well established footpaths in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods. There is some road walking on quiet roads in Abbots Leigh and some grass footpaths following The Monarchs Way back towards Long Ashton.
The walk from the free car park in Long Ashton Park and Ride is 9 miles but there is an option to park in The Manor House Car Park in Ashton Court. (£3) which will reduce the distance and elevation.
