We are the East Yorkshire & Derwent Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This attractive walk begins in North Newbald, Village Hall, car park.
From the car park,we head to Syke House, after a steady climb out of the village.
From here we make our way to Gare Gate and join part of the Yorkshire Wolds Way and High Hunsley Circuit.From here we walk into Swindale
Arriving at Beck Farm,we head back to the cars at North Newbald.
This scenic walk is hilly in parts with a bit of road walking.
Most of the walk is in a pastoral setting.
Dogs are welcome on short leads please
We have been requested to park our cars in the village hall car park at the top end near the entrance as other activities maybe taking place.If it is full when you arrive, would advise to park in the village as there are plenty of other parking places. There is a village hall honesty box and would advise £1.
New walkers are always welcome but please make yourself known to the walk leader before we start.
