Our chance to visit Huggate offering many scenic views of The Wolds along the route. This new walk for our group starts in the car park at Huggate.
Walking through the village, we join part of the established Chalklands and Yorkshire Wolds Way. Walking in scenic Cowdale,stunning Oxlands Dale , and remarkable Shortlands Dale we head to Shortlands Plantation. Heading towards remote Foxcovert Farm, we arrive at Freshlands Cottages.Walking by the outer edges of Haywold Farm,we proceed to part of Driffield Road and back to Huggate.
🥾🖼 This walk is full of ups and downs and offers many scenic views of The Wolds.

👬 New walkers are always welcome to join the group for a few walks before becoming members but please make yourself known to the walk leader before we start.The leader will be able to supply you with an In case of Emergency Card (ICE Card)
🅿️ Parking in Huggate Car park.The village car park committee suggest £1 per car payable by bank transfer.If you prefer please give £1 to Peter G who will be able to do a cash transfer on your behalf.
