Overview

Join us for this attractive walk that offers open spaces and woodland areas.

The walk starts near Sancton church where there's limited parking in the public car park near the nursery on the main road. If the car park is full please park considerately in the village. Meeting at the car park we walk along the main road  and head to the Houghton Eastate.  Continuing to Houghton Moor, and passing through mature woodland, we turn towards North Cliffe and walk a short distance along the road.It is here we make a short sharp ascent through a field up Kings Hill, and along tracks to Castle Farm.  We then make our return back to Sancton along a lane and through the village.
