WALK 2
Start point is the Rogie Falls Car Park off the A835 Ullapool rd. Walk starts from here going approx NE with a short ascent, then dropping down to a spot which arguably gives one of the best views of the Falls. We then walk west to the main visitor area. Possibly a chance to see salmon making their way up the falls. Good place for a coffee break. We continue north for a short distance before making an anti-clockwise loop which gets us on to the main path back to the car park. Toilets here. We then have a drive of about six miles on the A 835 to Silverbridge. We cross the bridge and descend about a dozen steps to access the path on the east side of the Black Water. Walk on a good path for about 3km to Little Garve where Major Caulfield’s spectacular two-arched bridge crosses the Black Water. There are several picnic tables here, so it’s a good spot for lunch break. We then take the path along the west side of the river to return to Silverbridge; toilets normally available here.
