The walk heads north east along tracks and woodland alongside the River Coquet towards Whirleyshaws. We then cross the river and head along minor roads and tracks to Acklington Park and then onto St.Owswald's Way which we follow along the south side of the Coquet back to Felton.
Terrain: Varied, tracks, woodland paths and some road walking. Nothing too strenuous.

The walk is being lead by Jill Bungay
The walk starts from the bridge in Felton and people can park on street. North side of the bridge is usually easier. Directions to Start point: North on A1 then take right turn off A1 signed Felton B6345. Then down the hill into the village to the bridge.
