Overview

An easy, varied, flat walk which passes through the three pretty villages of Fiskerton, Rolleston and Morton.

The walk is along fields, country paths and by the River Trent.

There are many lovely houses, an old mill and church to see along the way.

There are several small wooden bridges and 6 dog friendly stiles to cross.

There were no cattle or sheep in the fields on the pre-walk and virtually no mud.

There will be a coffee stop so please bring your own refreshments.

The Bromley gastro pub in Fiskerton (NG25 0UL) is very close to the car park and will be open for drinks/food at the end of the walk for those of you who would like to relax at the end of the walk.

This walk is about 5.2 miles, However as it is almost a figure of eight walk an easy short cut can be taken.

Start at Fiskerton riverside car park NG25 0UL. Take the A617 from Newark, over the bridge and through Kelham. Turn left at the FIRST set of traffic lights to Rolleston. Go through Rolleston towards the river and just before you enter Fiskerton there is a free carpark on the left between the road and the river. Approx 25mins from Collingham
