A circular walk from Kington St. Michael passing through Easton Piercy, Yatton Keynell, Leigh Delamare and The Nymph Hay (Woodland Trust). Birthplace of the eccentric 17thC antiquarian, John Aubrey, who wrote one of the first histories of Wiltshire and ‘discovered’ the Avebury stones when they were hidden underground or overgrown. This is a flat walk along lanes and across fields and the edges of estates. For those of a more racy disposition there are views crossing the M4 and towards Leigh Delamare Services!!! Muddy in places, quite a few poorly maintained but useable styles. Two stops – brief coffee stop and a packed lunch stop.
Please note the Finish Time is an estimate and may vary.
