A short morning walk on Portsdown Hill stopping part way for free refreshments (mince pies and mulled wine/hot drinks).   Refreshments:   Outdoor seating where we stop for our mince pie (toilets available).  The refreshments are free and there is a collection for charity (split between Macmillan Cancer Support and Samaritans of Portsmouth and East Hampshire).

 As we are walking on a chalk ridge some of the exposed chalk may be very slippery.  Most of the paths are on grass but we do cross one cultivated field where it may be slippery.
