We will start walking down through the golf course, in a well screened path and down to the Ver/Colne valley. We will then head over Bricket Wood Common onto the Munden Estate. We will have lunch in Bricket Wood. There is a cafe at the station and a pub for a quick drink during lunchtime, if you wish. We will then go on to towards the Moor Mill before wending our way back to Aldenham over fields and rural paths. Please bring along a packed lunch and drinks for the day.
Meet at The Overflow Car Park, Aldenham Golf Club, WD25 8AN. There is free parking but please park at the back and share cars where possible
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
