This is the final part of the Ver Valley Walks and this time we walk to it's confluence with the River Colne. The walk is undulating and will be muddy if wet, so please bring along poles if needed. We will be stopping for a short break in the morning, so bring a snack if you wish and then a longer lunch break, so packed lunch will be needed. Please also bring along enough drinks for the day.
Meet at Riverside Way Car Park, Drop Lane, Colney Street, St Albans AL2 3TX where there is free parking. This car park is not large, so car sharing is encouraged.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 18 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
