A scenic walk through woods and across farm and common land, circling Frieth. The route is gently undulating with 755ft of ascent/descent spread over the course of the walk, but including one steep but relatively short climb soon after leaving Skirmett.
Meet Lane End public car park, HP14 3ES (free, public toilets). Please bring a packed lunch. There is the possibility of a quick drink in the Frog PH in Skirmett during lunch.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you. Please remember to bring along your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with details of emergency contacts, medical conditions and medications.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book. If your plans change please let the leader know in case there is a waiting list. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of the walk and will then be destroyed.
