Overview

Another interesting walk from Cheshire Walkers !!

We will be probably start at Black Rock which is a local beauty spot with great views.

We will then head through Matlock Bath and onto The Heights of Abraham before heading to the infamous Giddy Edge on High Tor, nicknamed the scariest footpath in England with a narrow ledge in some parts and a 300ft drop to Matlock. Don't worry though, the one section that is quite narrow, and where you turn a corner is where they have kindly installed a handrail to hold onto. Once around the corner they have also kindly put a bench for those needing sit down and calm their heart rate down again !!

For those who don't want to tackle Giddy Edge there is a bye-pass path.
