We are the Northallerton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the car park we take the track opp Hartbeats Scripts Garage then the footpath to the Mallayan Spout Hotel. From here we go down to the Beck. Here there is an option to go to see the waterfall which involves climbing over boulders. We then head to Beck Hole and pick up The Grosmont Rail Trail to Grosmont. There is a short climb up the road out of Grosmont before leaving it to take the path through the wood and back to Goathland
There are toilets in the car park and at Grosmont station. With a bit of luck we might just see and hear a steam loco running.
