Overview

This walk is designed to help those looking to prepare for moderate walks in the countryside, with the security of having dropout points. Experienced walkers are also welcome.

We will start off going up the hill to Wimbledon Common and then into Putney where we will stop for lunch and have our first dropout point at Putney Station (6 Miles). Either bring a packed lunch or choose from a number of takeaway options in Putney. We will then cross the river and walk alongside the river before heading back to the next dropout point Putney Bridge (8 Miles). Crossing back over the river we will head towards the next dropout point Southfields (10 Miles). Finally we will go past the tennis grounds and back into Wimbledon where we will finish at a pub.
