Overview

The walk begins at Aira Force car park. It benefits from the panoramic views that can be gained along the path that traverses the south and east flanks of Gowbarrow. It then gains the summit of the mountain before traversing the upper levels to reach a grandstand view over Ullswater and beyond from Green Hill. Upon return it explores the area around Aira Force waterfall.
