This is a circular, short walk starting from Great Tey public car park taking in some of the Essex Way, passing through Hoe wood and on to Aldham and returning to Great Tey where a drink can be obtained from the Chequers if required. The pub is fully booked for food unfortunately.
As this is a short walk a packed lunch is not required unless you particularly want one! Also may I bring to your attention that Brian Early is leading a walk from Great Tey on the 2nd of January but is most definitely not the same. Also the walk can be considered slippy underfoot.
