From Grin Low car park we will head off towards Grinlow Temple, where it's then down hill to pick up the Midshires Way. We follow this path through to the big blue duck at Deep Dale and Topley Pike Nature Reserve, passing a big blue caravan/tent, Standen and Cowdale on the way.
After lunch, we pass through Back Dale, Brierlow Bar to the big blue pint pot at Harpur Hill where we will pause for a drink at The Parks Inn. We'll then pick up the dismantled Railway, past the big blue star at Karting, onto Stanley Moor, and finally back to the big blue P and couple at Grin Low. This walk is over varied terrain, mainly footpaths and farm tracks. Lunch Required.
